WAIPARA SCHOOL PET DAY 2022

The day dawned a little cooler as to what we have enjoyed in the past, but that did not deter the animals, parents, and community members from coming out in their droves to view this year’s selection of pets. Dogs, lambs, sheep, a goat, a calf, and a dead tarantula made up some of the offerings. In the morning, the children busied themselves making a flower out of newspaper, a clay creature, and a sand saucer. These were judged as well and contributed to points towards the Warren Campion Pet Day trophy which was awarded to Natalie at the end of the day. Thanks to everyone, who made this year’s Pet Day, the success that it was.
