Our Enviro Leaders accompanied by Alison Willis headed to Pariroa / Gore Bay to hear about the history of the area, the significance to Maori and to learn about the flora, fauna and animal life. To hear the loud and varied bird song in the bush was very special and has been brought about by the trapping programme in the area. Our children were joined by Amberley, Broomfield and Omihi Enviro Leaders as well. Thanks to Broomfield School for allowing us to travel with the group on their school bus. A worthwhile trip, throughly enjoyed by all.
